My photographic work reflects a curiosity about the relationship of the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the human experience. Using visual metaphors, I share my ruminations and discoveries, seeking to include the viewer into that dialog. When successful, the work draws the viewers into the image, attracting them with something experiential. Often the work evokes more questions than provides answers. This process of examination is demonstrated in the two distinctly flavored bodies of work, Profiles of American Consumption and Constructs of Diversion, Part 2: Mechanistic Roving

The scope of my work is the natural result of my need to consider all of the possibilities. Woven throughout the stylistic differences is a road map of the places I’ve been physically, emotionally and spiritually. There is still so much to explore.
