Profiles of American Consumption considers the meaning behind a households’ usage of goods and products by using a scientific pretext to peer into the privacy of the family refrigerator. Loosely developed from the idiom, "you are what you eat", the project becomes an anatomy of the interior, an illustration of core values and beliefs played out in the politics of food.
